im a sucker for a cute romance. you got somethin special here. big follow. gonna keep this on my radar ♥

very funny that i fucked up and got dumped the day i moved. shame the content ended there as i need an option to stay single the rest of the game and be miserable lol.
I was really enjoying the soothing, slice of life vibe of this one, and I love the characters so much, but the introduction of an arbitrary villain and central conflict is souring my mood. Like, yeah, the core premise was already a bit out there but when cartoon mafia rolls in, I roll my eyes.
This isn't to say I'm not going to keep playing, because I absolutely am. Like I said, I genuinely love these characters and the way y'all write them is absolutely stellar and it feels so organic. I'm just a little disappointed to see another VN I was really enjoying and getting comfy with suddenly include comically evil bad guys that are only going to distract the plot from the things I actually care about, the things I came here for. Idk. I can't tell you guys how to write your joint, but this is such an overdone thing at this point and I wish I could just focus on my mushy escapist romance stuff.
And for anyone else reading this, to be clear, I still love this VN. Big recommend for anyone interested. Don't let my take here turn you off of a good time, because it is absolutely overall a very good time.
I completely understand wanting a simple, cozy romance game. For me, as a writer, for this story to continue, I felt it needed a driving conflict beyond "sleep with people," primarily when this conflict essentially serves as a vehicle for introducing new characters, grappling with interesting dilemmas, and testing the characters. But without the conflict, the game would be much shorter and wouldn't have all these characters whose stories I want to tell. Without Mr. Noto, the game would just be "sleep with people," and that would be boring to me.
I get that, and I appreciate you reaching out to express your reasoning.
My only hope is that Mr. Noto becomes more nuanced of a character maybe, as potentially hinted at by Vera, and that the conflict becomes a little more grounded. As soon as I heard Café Estro was in decline, I was fully on board to help fix it myself, and I believed the protagonist would rise to the occasion regardless of any extenuating factors. I personally didn't need such a radically evil villain to drive that conflict like he did, and I think that Noto being so comically villainous is a little bit of a misstep. I should want to help the Café because I want to, not because a huge dickweasel suddenly barged in with a massive ego. Makes the protagonist's decision to help out feel more manipulated than natural in my opinion.
Again, I could be biased; this is like the third or fourth visual novel I have played recently that started very chill and relaxing only to throw a Loony Tunes sized wrench into the mix. It's starting to feel like a cliché, and I think that's unfortunate because if nothing else, the way you write your characters is far from cliched. I absolutely adore Hazel and Robbie, I get stoked whenever they mention movies or stupidly long YouTube videos that I have absolutely watched as well, it makes the attachment feel so fucking organic.
This whole thing could also just be a bummer for me personally because to have another game where the core conflict is getting out of a seemingly endless amount of debt isn't great for my own mental, considering how much debt I'm in right now lmao. I hope my circumstances aren't coloring my criticism in a terrible way. I'm truly not trying to be a dick haha.
I'm still mega excited to see more from your game, and I hope I come to love all the new stuff you write into it as much as I've loved what there is so far. You have a really talented way of writing characters.
Edit: This is getting downvotes, but like, I get these questions so often I made an FAQ page so I wouldn't have to rewrite the same thing over and over.
Maybe I overlook it but I want to recognize the great work that this game has, I like how you can empathize with the characters and every detail put in, Just want to say that I wish the best to the devs and people behind this.🫂
I don't want my writing to be fed into an AI. When I do get my game translated, it will be done by a professional hired for the task. That way, the game can be accurately translated into the language instead of relying on a robot to guess.

It's funny, I've also gotten the critique that Noto isn't evil enough and was humanized too much.
Hopefully I can change your mind on thinking he's comically evil.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the input <3
if i download it for free will the game be updated as it releases or will i have to redownload it every time and redo the story

Came to jork, stayed to see the relationship unfold. Genuinely an amazing femboy game
What do you think about adding AI translation before manual translation can be added?
I think I'd rather pay a human to do a professional job than let AI ruin my writing.
Based
Veo que tienes una opinión bastante negativa de la IA podrías explicar o decir el porque de eso, tengo mucha curiosidad del porque de eso.
